WELCOME - ABOUT US

We are a small club, with approximately 60 members, based out of David Lloyd (Woking) in Surrey. We were founded in 1994 and are affiliated to the South of England Athletic Association (SEAA) and as such form part of the new England Athletics UK governing body.

Our club aims to provide a friendly environment, in which runners of all abilities can enjoy their running and their racing, should they so wish. The blend of training runs, club runs & social events as well as informal post run teas & coffees in the DLL Woking club bar after every day runs, make for a fun and chilled out, inclusive club atmosphere for all.

New members are always very welcome: The only stipulation however is that you do need to be a member of David Lloyd Leisure (please see our Club Rules).

If you would like to 'meet and try us' before making the decision to join, then please do just turn up to any of our training runs, introduce yourself and take it from there. The current Committee are very approachable and would be happy to chat to you.

For more information please contact us - see you soon!

NEWS

Thanks to all that turned up to the Chrsitmas Dinner this year at the new venue of 'The Albany' restaurant in Guildford rather than the traditional venue of the DLL Woking Club. I think you'll all agree that this was an excellent evening and a very good meal. The 2009 Marathon places were drawn and will be posted and confirmed on here soon...watch this space!

Calling all snappers...please email Simon Young (admin.cruisersrc@ntlworld.com) your photos from this years events so we can get the site looking great.
